Featuring one track of typically brilliant, 12 minute yndi halda epicness, A Sun Coloured Shaker picks up where previous album Under Summer leaves off. Out 16th February, the record will be released on very limited one-sided, yellow/Beer swirl-coloured 12” with original artwork and b-side etching created by the band's frequent collaborator, illustrator Hannah Clare. Beach Slang are back this October with a new EP, but with something a little different!
On October 20th, James will debut his newest project, aptly titled Quiet Slang, with the We Were Babies & We Were Dirtbags EP. Playing solo with a contributing pianist and cellist, the EP includes two re-worked Beach Slang songs, as well as, covers of The Replacements and Big Star (both covers being exclusive to this record).
