Itch, like so many before them, know what it is to be a struggling band. Having poured themselves into their music for 5 years now, despite the hardships of countless gigs and little recognition they remain eager and fresh-faced youngsters with ambition in their sights and fire in their hearts. "There are so many bands out there each one wanting little scraps of attention it makes me sick to my belly sometimes," says frontman Mike Milner, but ultimately it's that sick feeling and desire to make it where others fall short that will keep them striving for more. "We just want to push boundaries and create something that burns through these dry forest floors of 2004."

Picking up the torch where underground heroes Spy Vs Spy prematurely dropped it, Yorkshire boys Itch make intricate and detailed songs that sparkle like little rough diamonds, never fully polished but always treasured nonetheless.

Their cleverly entitled fantastic debut album 'Well Well Well Three Holes In The Ground' was released in February 2005 to glowing acclaim. New single, 'The Bombshell', is due out in June 2007, picking up just where they left off.

Planet Loud
It’s albums like this that remind you why you like music in the first place - it’s life affirming. (9/10)

Drowned In Sound
Itch craft utterly captivating rock music, and they do so in such an accomplished manner that not a single pair of ears experiencing them will be left anything but absolutely surprised. (4/5)

Rock Sound
This off-beat foursome create discordant, unhinged melodies that twist and turn like a rattle snake on acid... It makes a refreshing change to see a new British band who aren't ploughing the same tired dual-vocal attack hardcore furrow. Scratch the surface and you'll discover a real gem. 8/10

Big Cheese
Itch deal in slightly jagged alt-rock, the kind of sound that recalls emo before it became a dirty word (Braid etc) - Excellent stuff

Play Dead
Soaring vocals, intricate fiddling, some great songs and a whole lot of heart, this album has a lot, and it uses it in the best possible way… A superb band and a half. Essential listening to fans of alternative UK guitar music and then some.

Collective Zine
Its the sound of summer that people with an appeciation for the Spies, Braid or Cap'n Jazz will almost certainly enjoy... Anyone who misses the Spies or enjoyed the Green Acre would be well served in at least checking this out, because there is a high chance you'll love it.

Rancid News
Jagged, exuberant and relentlessly soothing, the awkward reserve of the vocals makes the blood curdle all the more when the trenchant vocalist’s larynx eventually severs in cacophonous disdain.

If Mice Could Move Mountains
This is not a band you will be able to define easily. They are not post-hardcore and nor are they emo. They sound like "Domestica"-era Cursive and have branched enough genres so that people will have to listen to make up their mind… This record is an excellent debut. This is going to be a band that will only go from strength to strength, and quickly.

Punktastic
I think it would be too easy to dismiss this lot as another band who do that angular thing very well; after all Itch do their thing very, very well… Over the course of 10 songs and 38 minutes, Itch take you on a beautiful musical journey… If this is the culmination of five years of blood, sweat and tears, Itch can be a very proud band indeed.

Subba Cultcha
With shades of the Jesus and Mary Chain, Hot Hot Heat, the Clash, the Longpigs (I liked them) and the Cure, Itch are a band who, on the basis of this record, could hold their heads high among the best of those listed above. Epic, chaotic, passionate, edgy, tender, beautiful and awesome, it’s a record that has only peaks

Brain Love
I fell in love with Itch. It just took time, effort and a little awkwardness at the start to reveal a wonderful, multi-layered soft-hearted beast of an album, more than worthy of your attention

LuckyPill
For once it's something new, and refreshing to a scene of cliché's. (4.5/5)

Gamefoe
Itch play a really angular rock where the focus seems to be on the urgency (or should that be desperation?) of the vocals and guitar melodies that build up and tempt you to insanity, but before you spaz out it stops. And then it starts. And you’re not really sure what’s going to happen next. (4/5)

Static Domain
A top record by a great up and coming UK band who deserve to go far. (4/5)

A Short Fanzine About Rocking
The guitar melodies are like a patchwork quilt with the different colours representing the many facets they are creating through their intense, simplistic but all the same intricate sense of playing... I think the right word to sum up this album is bouyant. And of course excellent!

Kill The Noise
Itch have that great and rare power of being angsty and complex, but also irresistably bright-eyed at the same time... Imagine American Football with an exuberant youthful punch, or a much more restless Appleseed Cast

Backlash
The emotion that the band have quite clearly poured into their songs and which makes this album a joy to listen to. Especially loud.
