Crash of Rhinos
Recorded in Turin, Italy in February 2010, the debut album 'Distal' was released as name-your-price download alongside a double vinyl on Triste Records and a CD on Brave Or Invincible Records. Now almost exactly a year on; the album will see cassette release on Big Scary Monsters, coinciding with a repress of the now out-of-print 2xLP on Triste.
Sometimes at full pelt with five vocals twisting around each other, at other times gentle and melancholic, the album was a labour of love from start to finish, and represents three years in the lives of five friends who just like making music and hanging out.
Following live dates with the likes of Algernon Cadwallader, Pinback, 1994!, Tall Ships, Lemuria and Tellison, and a successful tour of Europe in November 2011, the band are currently writing material for their second album, due for release in the latter half of 2012.

New Crash of Rhinos track 14th May 2013 We're delighted to announce that Crash of Rhinos' brilliant second album, 'Knots', will be released later this summer!
